Produced on selected local farms, these free range eggs are laid by hens which are kept in accordance to the British Egg Industry Council Lion Code of Practice which includes vaccination against salmonella.  They are fed on a cereal based diet free from artificial yolk colourants and are approved as suitable for vegetarians by the Vegetarian Society.  In addition all our free range hen farmers operate to standards set out by RSPCA Freedom Food which ensures that hen welfare meets a higher standard than UK or EU law requires.
